These Terms of Service (the “Terms” or “ToS”) govern your access to and use of the websites, customer portals, application programming interfaces (APIs), self-service interfaces, documentation, marketing materials, and any related properties of Wirescope, Inc. (“Wirescope,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), as well as any network, transit, IP, DDoS-mitigation, hosting, and related services we may make available through those properties (collectively, the “Services”). These Terms are a binding agreement between you (the person or organization accessing or using the Services, “you” or “Customer”) and Wirescope.
Before using the Services you must also accept the Wirescope Acceptable Use Policy (the “AUP”) and the Wirescope Privacy Policy. Together with these Terms, those documents form the “Wirescope Policies.” For enterprise customers with a separately-signed Wirescope Network Services Agreement (an “NSA”), the NSA, together with the Wirescope Policies, governs the relationship; in the event of any conflict between these Terms and an executed NSA, the NSA controls.
This is a public-facing operational document. Prior versions of these Terms are available on request to legal@wirescope.net.
1. Acceptance
1.1 Affirmative assent
You are bound by the full Terms (including, without limitation, Section 11 (Limitation of Liability), Section 12 (Indemnification), and Section 16 (Governing Law and Venue), which contains a jury-trial waiver, a class-action waiver, and a one-year limitations period) only where you have provided affirmative assent through any of the following:
- creating an account, registering for a portal login, or submitting an order for the Services;
- accepting these Terms electronically (including by clicking, ticking, or otherwise indicating agreement);
- executing a Wirescope NSA or any Order that references the Wirescope Policies; or
- providing any other unambiguous, affirmative indication of agreement Wirescope reasonably designates.
1.2 Website-use terms
Your access to and use of the public Wirescope website is additionally subject to (a) the prohibitions in Section 5 (Acceptable Use) and Section 4.7 (Anti-scraping; Anti-API-abuse; Anti-reverse-engineering), (b) the intellectual-property provisions in Section 13, (c) the Privacy Policy, and (d) any supplemental website-use terms Wirescope publishes; if you do not agree to those terms, do not access or use the Wirescope website. Wirescope does not rely on website browsing alone to impose Section 11, Section 12, or Section 16 on a passive visitor.
1.3 Authority and acknowledgment
If you are accepting these Terms on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization. If you do not have that authority, or if you do not agree to these Terms, the AUP, or the Privacy Policy, do not use the Services.
2. Eligibility
To use the Services you must (a) be at least eighteen (18) years old or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction; (b) have full legal capacity to enter into a binding contract; (c) not be the subject of any sanctions administered by the U.S. Department of the Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control or any other applicable sanctions authority, and not be located in any jurisdiction subject to comprehensive U.S. sanctions; and (d) not be barred from receiving the Services under any applicable law.
If you are accessing the Services on behalf of an organization, that organization must be duly organized and validly existing under the laws of its jurisdiction of formation, and must satisfy the same eligibility criteria.
Wirescope may verify your or your organization's identity at any time, including through identity-verification services such as Stripe Identity, and may condition continued access to the Services on satisfactory verification. You will provide accurate, current, and complete information in any verification process and update it promptly upon any change.
Wirescope may, at any time and as a condition of initial or continued access to the Services, require Customer to (a) complete know-your-customer (KYC) and know-your-business (KYB) procedures, (b) disclose ultimate beneficial ownership and control, (c) disclose intended use of the Services, expected traffic profile, and the categories and identities of any downstream customers, (d) disclose any prior history of denial-of-service activity, ransom or extortion demand, sanctions exposure, regulatory enforcement action, or material AUP violation at any prior provider, (e) post a security deposit, prepayment, letter of credit, personal guaranty, or other payment assurance Wirescope reasonably specifies, and (f) accept commercially reasonable additional terms (including prefix segregation, traffic limits, abuse-handling commitments, accelerated response times, or pricing reflecting the elevated operational risk). Wirescope may decline to provide, or may suspend or terminate, the Services where Customer fails to satisfy any such condition, or where Wirescope reasonably determines that Customer or its use presents disproportionate operational, abuse, security, sanctions, reputational, or legal risk to Wirescope, its network, its upstream or peering partners, or other customers.
3. Account creation and security
You are responsible for any account you create with Wirescope, including for all activity that occurs under that account (whether or not authorized by you), for safeguarding your credentials, and for promptly notifying Wirescope at legal@wirescope.net of any actual or suspected unauthorized access. Wirescope is not liable for any loss arising from your failure to maintain the security of your credentials.
You will provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering and will update that information promptly upon any change. Wirescope may suspend, restrict, or terminate any account in respect of which inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading information has been provided.
You may not (a) share or transfer your credentials; (b) create accounts using automated means, scripts, bots, or under false pretenses; (c) create more than one account per person or organization without Wirescope's prior written consent; (d) use another customer's account; (e) create accounts for the primary purpose of evading any rate limit, usage threshold, suspension, termination, or enforcement action; (f) misrepresent your identity, organization, ultimate beneficial owner, or intended use of the Services in any registration; or (g) use the Services or any Wirescope account to support operations of any person whom Wirescope has suspended or terminated, without Wirescope's prior written consent.
4. The Services
4.1 What Wirescope provides
The Services consist of network transit, IP connectivity, DDoS-mitigation, and related infrastructure services delivered by Wirescope from time to time. The specific Services available to you depend on the plan, order, or contract you have selected and on the Service Location at which you have ordered Services.
4.2 What Wirescope does not provide
Except to the limited extent expressly stated in an NSA or executed Order, the Services are provided on a commercially reasonable, best-efforts basis. Wirescope makes no representations, warranties, or commitments regarding uptime, availability, latency, packet loss, throughput, jitter, mitigation effectiveness, or any other performance metric, and you are not entitled to any service credits, refunds, abatements, or other remedies for any outage, degradation, interruption, or performance shortfall, except as expressly set forth in a written service level addendum.
Customer support is provided on a best-efforts basis and is not a service-level commitment. Optional support beyond initial provisioning and Wirescope-side fault response may incur additional fees at Wirescope's then-current professional-services rates. See your NSA (or, if none, this Section) for details.
4.3 DDoS-mitigation services
DDoS-mitigation, where included in your Services, is provided on a commercially reasonable, best-efforts basis. Wirescope makes no warranties regarding detection accuracy, response time, mitigation effectiveness, preservation of legitimate traffic, continued reachability of any destination during mitigation, the volume of attack traffic mitigated relative to the volume reaching you, or any other outcome or performance metric. Mitigation is subject to capacity constraints, may produce collateral disruption, and may be discontinued, scaled back, or escalated in Wirescope's discretion. See the AUP Section 3 for the operational thresholds that govern attack-volume tolerance.
4.4 Self-Service Interface
If Wirescope makes a customer-facing portal, API, or other self-service interface available to you (the “Self-Service Interface”), your use of the Self-Service Interface is subject to these Terms, the AUP, and any additional usage terms, scopes, or rate limits posted in or applicable to the Self-Service Interface. You are responsible for the content, scope, and effect of any rule, filter, threshold, prefix tag, community, or other configuration you submit. Wirescope has no obligation to validate, review, optimize, or correct your configurations and is not liable for their effects.
4.5 Beta, preview, and trial features
Wirescope may, from time to time, make beta, preview, alpha, trial, evaluation, or “early-access” features of the Services available to you. Such features are provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis, are not covered by any service-level commitment or warranty (express or implied), and may be modified, throttled, restricted, suspended, or discontinued at any time without notice. Any data, configurations, or other artifacts you create or store in a beta feature may be permanently deleted on modification or removal of the feature. Wirescope has no liability for any loss arising from the modification, suspension, removal, or unavailability of a beta feature, or from the deletion of any data associated with it. Use of beta features is at your sole risk.
4.6 Modification of the Services
Wirescope may modify, enhance, or discontinue any feature or component of the Services at any time, provided that any such change to a paid Service governed by an NSA will not materially reduce the Service as described in the applicable Order without reasonable notice to the Customer.
4.7 Anti-scraping; anti-API-abuse; anti-reverse-engineering
You will not, without Wirescope's prior written consent: (a) scrape, harvest, crawl, mine, or extract data from the Wirescope website, customer portal, Self-Service Interface, or any Wirescope API in any manner inconsistent with any robots.txt directive, published rate limit, or documented use case; (b) use any automated means (including bots, scripts, scrapers, or headless browsers) to interact with the Wirescope website, portal, or APIs beyond Wirescope's documented integration interfaces; (c) reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code, structure, organization, or operation of any Wirescope-proprietary system, software, or infrastructure; (d) access any portion of the Wirescope website, portal, APIs, or infrastructure for any purpose other than your ordinary use of the Services as authorized by Wirescope; (e) probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of, or attempt to breach the security of, any Wirescope system or service, except under a published Wirescope responsible-disclosure or bug-bounty program (if any); or (f) take any action designed to interfere with, disable, overburden, or impair the operation of the Wirescope website, portal, APIs, or infrastructure. Wirescope may apply rate limits, throttling, IP-based restrictions, captcha challenges, or other technical measures to prevent abuse of this Section.
4.8 No resale, sublicensing, or service-provider use without consent
Unless your Order or NSA expressly permits it (and in any case subject to Section 4 of the AUP relating to Service-Provider Customers), you may not (a) resell, sublicense, rent, lease, transfer, or otherwise make the Services (or any portion or output thereof) available to any third party as a service, (b) use the Services to operate a service whose primary purpose is the resale or sublicense of network transit, IP connectivity, DDoS-mitigation, hosting, or similar infrastructure services to third parties, or (c) act as a service provider, reseller, hoster, or transit provider with respect to the Services without first notifying Wirescope and obtaining Wirescope's prior written consent (which may be conditioned on additional terms, including additional security deposit, dedicated capacity, abuse-handling commitments, indemnity scoping, and pricing reflecting the elevated operational risk). Wirescope may, in its reasonable discretion, refuse, condition, or terminate consent at any time. An unconsented use of the Services for resale or service-provider purposes is a material breach of these Terms.
5. Acceptable use
Your use of the Services is at all times subject to the Wirescope Acceptable Use Policy. The AUP prohibits, among other things, denial-of-service attacks, hosting of attack-as-a-service infrastructure, spoofing, route hijacks, spam, illegal content (including CSAM), and other harmful conduct. Violations of the AUP may result in suspension, restriction, or termination of the Services, with or without notice depending on the severity of the conduct. By accepting these Terms, you also accept the AUP.
You are responsible for ensuring that your users, employees, contractors, agents, downstream customers, and end users comply with the AUP. Their violations are your violations.
6. IP addresses and routing allocations
Any IPv4 or IPv6 addresses, AS numbers, or other routing allocations that Wirescope leases or makes available to you under the Services remain at all times the property of Wirescope or Wirescope's upstream allocator. Your right to use such allocations is non-exclusive, non-transferable, and terminates automatically upon termination or expiration of the relevant Services. Upon such termination, you will promptly cease using and withdraw any announcements of the affected prefixes.
Where you use your own IP addresses or AS numbers through the Services, you represent that you are authorized to do so, that valid Route Origin Authorizations (ROAs) exist for your announced prefixes, and that you will comply with the routing-hygiene obligations of your contract and the AUP. Wirescope may filter, reject, or refuse to propagate any announcement that is RPKI-invalid, lacks a valid ROA, originates from an unexpected ASN, appears to be a hijack or leak, or otherwise violates Wirescope's then-current routing-hygiene policies.
7. Customer content and data
7.1 Ownership of Customer Content
You retain all right, title, and interest in any content, data, or traffic that you transmit through the Services or store on infrastructure you control (“Customer Content”). Wirescope does not claim ownership of Customer Content.
7.2 Operational license; no obligation to retain
You grant Wirescope a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, royalty-free, worldwide license to transmit, route, mitigate, filter, log, instrument, account for, process, and otherwise operate on Customer Content as reasonably necessary to operate, maintain, secure, monitor, troubleshoot, account for, bill for, and protect the Services and the Wirescope network, and to comply with applicable law and Wirescope's abuse-handling obligations. Wirescope does not access the content of Customer's traffic except as set forth in this Section, in the AUP, or as expressly authorized by Customer in writing. The collection and handling of personal data in connection with the Services is described in the Privacy Policy; for enterprise customers, the data-protection allocation in the NSA controls.
You are solely responsible for backing up your data and content. Wirescope is not a data-storage, data-backup, or data-archival service, has no obligation to retain Customer Content for any particular period, and does not represent that it can or will recover lost Customer Content.
7.3 No use of Customer Content for AI / ML training
Wirescope does not use Customer Content (including the content of traffic transiting the Services) to train, develop, fine-tune, evaluate, or improve any machine-learning model, large-language model, generative-AI system, or other AI system, except (a) where you have expressly authorized such use in writing, or (b) where the data has been aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified such that it cannot reasonably be associated with you or any individual. Operational metadata processed under the Privacy Policy may be used in aggregate or anonymized form for capacity planning, security analytics, threat-intelligence development, fraud prevention, and similar internal operational purposes.
8. Fees and payment
Fees for paid Services are as set forth in the Order, NSA, or pricing page applicable to your Services. Unless expressly stated otherwise:
- fees are exclusive of taxes (other than taxes imposed on Wirescope's net income);
- fees are billed in U.S. dollars;
- fees are payable by ACH, wire transfer, credit card, or such other method as Wirescope designates;
- past-due amounts accrue interest at the lesser of 1.5% per month or the maximum rate permitted by law;
- Wirescope may suspend the Services for non-payment beyond any applicable cure period;
- you will not initiate any chargeback, payment reversal, or similar action with any card network, bank, or payment intermediary except for a documented processing error promptly reported to Wirescope in writing; chargebacks in violation of this Section are a material breach; and
- you are responsible for all costs of collection on past-due amounts, including reasonable attorneys' fees.
Enterprise customers with an NSA are subject to the more detailed fee, billing, taxes, late-fee, chargeback, deposit, and set-off terms of that NSA.
9. Term, suspension, termination
9.1 Term
Unless otherwise stated in an Order or NSA, these Terms remain in effect for as long as you use the Services or maintain an account with Wirescope.
9.2 Suspension
Wirescope may suspend or restrict your access to or use of the Services (in whole or in part), with or without notice depending on the circumstances, if (a) you violate these Terms, the AUP, the Privacy Policy, or your NSA; (b) your use of the Services poses a security, integrity, performance, or stability risk to Wirescope, to Wirescope's network or systems, to Wirescope's upstream or peering partners, or to other customers; (c) traffic to or from you is causing or contributing to a denial-of-service condition, congestion, route abuse, or other operational harm; (d) Wirescope receives a credible abuse, security, intellectual-property, or legal complaint relating to your use; (e) your account is past due; or (f) suspension is required by law, court order, or governmental directive. The AUP describes the operational thresholds and enforcement actions in more detail; (g) an upstream provider, peering partner, internet-exchange operator, data-center operator, cross-connect provider, law-enforcement agency, court, regulatory authority, or other governmental authority requires, mandates, threatens, or reasonably appears likely to require the action; or (h) the continued provision of the Services to you would, in Wirescope's reasonable determination, place Wirescope in breach of any agreement with any of the foregoing.
9.3 Termination
Either you or Wirescope may terminate these Terms at any time. Wirescope may terminate Wirescope's provision of any Services to you with or without cause on reasonable notice, except as restricted by an NSA. Wirescope may terminate immediately for cause (including material or repeated AUP violations, non-payment beyond cure, fraud, bankruptcy / insolvency, or sanctions issues).
Termination of these Terms does not relieve you of any obligation accrued before termination, including the obligation to pay any amounts owed, the obligation to indemnify, or any other obligation that by its nature is intended to survive termination.
9.4 Effect of termination
Upon termination, your access to the Services and to any Wirescope account, portal, or Self-Service Interface ceases. Wirescope may, but is not obligated to, delete any data, files, or other information associated with your account. You should retrieve any data you wish to retain before termination.
10. Disclaimers
Except as expressly set forth in an NSA or other written agreement executed by Wirescope, the Services, including all content, information, and materials made available through them, are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranty of any kind, express, implied, or statutory. Wirescope disclaims all warranties, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, completeness, quiet enjoyment, or arising by course of dealing or usage of trade.
Wirescope does not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, error-free, or free of viruses, malware, or other harmful components; that any data transmitted through the Services will be delivered without loss, delay, or corruption; that defects will be corrected; or that the Services will achieve any particular result.
The Services are not designed, intended, or authorized for use in any application in which the failure of the Services could lead to death, personal injury, or severe physical, environmental, or property damage (including operation of nuclear facilities, aircraft navigation or control, air-traffic control, life-support systems, or any other safety-critical application). You assume all risk arising from any such use.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, and except as expressly set forth in an NSA or other written agreement executed by Wirescope:
(a) in no event will Wirescope or its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, subcontractors, or vendors be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill, reputation, use, data, or the cost of substitute services, arising out of or relating to the Services, these Terms, the AUP, or the Privacy Policy, regardless of the theory of liability and even if Wirescope has been advised of the possibility of such damages; and
(b) the aggregate liability of Wirescope and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, subcontractors, and vendors arising out of or relating to the Services, these Terms, the AUP, or the Privacy Policy will not exceed the greater of (i) the total fees you paid or were payable to Wirescope for the affected Service in the three (3) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (ii) US$100.
Nothing in this Section excludes or limits liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, for willful misconduct, for gross negligence, for death or personal injury caused by negligence or willful misconduct, or for any other liability that, as a matter of applicable law, cannot be excluded or limited by contract.
12. Indemnification
You will defend, indemnify, and hold Wirescope and Wirescope's affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, subcontractors, vendors, upstream providers, peering partners, exchange operators, data-center operators, and cross-connect providers harmless from and against any and all third-party claims, demands, actions, proceedings, damages, liabilities, judgments, settlements, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees and costs of investigation) arising out of or relating to (a) your breach of these Terms, the AUP, the Privacy Policy, or any NSA; (b) your use of the Services or use of your account by anyone (whether or not authorized by you); (c) any content, data, or traffic that is transmitted through the Services, that originates from your network, prefixes, ASN, downstream customers, end users, or infrastructure you control, that transits infrastructure you control, or that is reasonably associated with any of the foregoing, including (without limitation) any denial-of-service activity, spoofed traffic, open-reflector traffic, amplification/reflection abuse, routing abuse (including hijack or leak), scanning, credential-stuffing, fraud or phishing activity, illegal content, copyright or trademark infringement, privacy violation, or other abuse or harmful traffic, in each case whether or not you had actual knowledge of the underlying conduct; (d) any takedown notice, abuse complaint, law-enforcement request, court order, or regulatory action directed at any of the foregoing; (e) any misconfiguration, mismanagement, or insecure configuration of any system, service, prefix, ROA, BGP session, DNS record, or other resource under your control that contributes to abuse, attack traffic, routing incident, or harm to any third party; and (f) any infringement, defamation, privacy violation, or other unlawful act in connection with your use of the Services.
For enterprise customers with an NSA, the indemnification provisions of the NSA control.
13. Intellectual property
The Services, the Wirescope website, the Wirescope name, logo, and brand, and all related software, documentation, designs, layouts, content, and materials are owned by Wirescope or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, trade-secret, and other intellectual-property laws. Except as expressly stated in these Terms or in an NSA, no rights or licenses are granted to you in any of the foregoing, and you may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, sublicense, sell, or create derivative works of any portion of the Services or Wirescope's intellectual property.
You grant Wirescope a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you provide regarding the Services, for any purpose, without obligation or compensation.
14. Privacy
Wirescope's collection, use, and disclosure of personal data in connection with the Services is described in the Privacy Policy. Please review the Privacy Policy before using the Services.
For enterprise customers with an NSA, the data-protection allocation in the NSA (and any executed data-processing addendum) controls.
15. Copyright infringement notices (DMCA)
Wirescope responds to notices of claimed copyright infringement that comply with 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3). Submit notices to:
Wirescope, Inc. · DMCA Designated Agent
16192 Coastal Hwy
Lewes, DE 19958, USA
dmca@wirescope.net
See the AUP Section 7 for required elements of a notice. Wirescope's designated agent is registered with the U.S. Copyright Office. Submission of a knowingly false notice or counter-notice subjects the submitting party to liability for damages under §512(f). Wirescope maintains and enforces a published policy for terminating, in appropriate circumstances, customers who are repeat infringers.
16. Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by, and will be construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. The Parties consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in New Castle County, Delaware for any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Services, the AUP, or the Privacy Policy. You waive any objection to such venue based on inconvenient forum, lack of personal jurisdiction, or any similar ground. For enterprise customers with an NSA, the governing-law and venue provisions of the NSA control.
Each party knowingly, voluntarily, and irrevocably waives any right to trial by jury in any action or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Services, the AUP, or the Privacy Policy. Each party also waives the right to participate in any class, collective, or representative action arising out of or relating to these Terms; any dispute will be prosecuted individually.
Any action, claim, or proceeding by you arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services must be commenced within one (1) year after the cause of action accrues, or it will be permanently barred. This Section does not apply to payment obligations or to claims by Wirescope against you.
17. General
17.1 Order of precedence
For enterprise customers with an NSA, the order of precedence is: NSA (and its Schedules) → AUP → these Terms → Privacy Policy. For all other customers, the order is: AUP → these Terms → Privacy Policy. Notwithstanding the foregoing, (a) the statutory disclosures and data-subject rights set forth in the Privacy Policy are not overridden by any other document in the order of precedence; (b) no provision of these Terms, the AUP, or any NSA may be construed to waive, diminish, or contract around any right that is, as a matter of applicable law, non-waivable; and (c) where applicable data-protection law (including the GDPR, the UK GDPR, the Swiss FADP, the CCPA, or any other comprehensive consumer-privacy law) requires a particular treatment of personal data, that treatment controls over any inconsistent contractual provision.
17.2 No assignment
You may not assign these Terms, in whole or in part, without Wirescope's prior written consent. Wirescope may assign these Terms (or any rights or obligations hereunder) at any time, including in connection with a merger, acquisition, corporate reorganization, financing, or sale of all or substantially all of Wirescope's assets or the relevant business line.
17.3 No third-party beneficiaries
These Terms do not create any third-party beneficiary rights.
17.4 No waiver
Wirescope's failure or delay in exercising any right under these Terms is not a waiver of that right or any other right.
17.5 Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect, and the invalid or unenforceable provision will be reformed to the minimum extent necessary to render it valid and enforceable while preserving its original intent.
17.6 Force majeure
Neither Party is liable for any delay or failure to perform under these Terms (other than payment obligations) to the extent the delay or failure results from a cause beyond the Party's reasonable control. Denial-of-service activity directed at you is not a force-majeure event excusing Wirescope.
17.7 Notices
Wirescope may give notices under these Terms by posting on the Wirescope website, by email to the address you have provided, or by any other reasonable means. You may give notices to Wirescope at legal@wirescope.net. For enterprise customers with an NSA, the notice provisions of the NSA control.
17.8 Electronic signatures and records
You consent to the use of electronic signatures and records to enter into and maintain these Terms and any related agreement, consistent with the Uniform Electronic Transactions Act as enacted in Delaware (6 Del. C. ch. 12A) and the federal E-SIGN Act.
17.9 Entire agreement
These Terms, together with the AUP, the Privacy Policy, and any applicable Order or NSA, constitute the entire agreement between you and Wirescope with respect to the Services and supersede all prior or contemporaneous understandings on the subject matter.
17.10 Wirescope monitoring of website, portal, and APIs
Wirescope may monitor your use of the Wirescope website, customer portal, Self-Service Interface, and APIs for security, fraud-prevention, abuse-prevention, capacity-management, and compliance-with-these-Terms purposes. Monitoring may include logging of access patterns, source IP addresses, user-agent strings, requests submitted, configurations applied, and other operational metadata, consistent with the Privacy Policy. Wirescope may, without notice, apply rate limits, throttling, captcha challenges, account locks, or other protective measures where Wirescope reasonably determines that your interaction with the Wirescope website, portal, or APIs poses a security, fraud-prevention, or capacity-management concern.
18. Modification
Wirescope may amend these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by posting an updated version at wirescope.net/legal/terms-of-service with a revised effective date and, where Wirescope has a customer's email address on file, by email. Material changes take effect thirty (30) days after posting (or, for changes Wirescope reasonably determines are necessary to comply with applicable law, address an active security threat, or reflect a change in upstream-provider or vendor arrangements, on shorter notice or with immediate effect). Prior versions of these Terms are available on request to legal@wirescope.net. Continued use of the Services after the effective date of an updated version constitutes acceptance.
