Today we're launching Wirescope Observability — a real-time network visibility platform that gives you per-flow telemetry, traffic analytics, and anomaly detection across your entire network footprint.
Why we built this
DDoS mitigation is reactive by nature. An attack happens, you mitigate it. But what about everything that happens between attacks? The slow probes. The unusual traffic patterns. The gradual changes in your traffic profile that might indicate reconnaissance or data exfiltration.
Our customers kept asking us the same question: "You see all our traffic. Can you show us what you see?"
The answer is now yes.
What's included
Per-flow telemetry: Every flow that transits our network is logged with full 5-tuple metadata, protocol classification, and behavioral tags. Query any time range, any prefix, any protocol.
Real-time dashboards: Configurable dashboards showing traffic volume, protocol distribution, geographic origin, AS path analysis, and attack surface mapping. Updated every second.
Anomaly detection: ML-powered detection of unusual traffic patterns — not just volumetric anomalies, but behavioral changes like new source ASNs, protocol ratio shifts, or unusual TTL distributions.
Alerting: Configurable alerts via webhook, email, PagerDuty, or Slack. Set thresholds on any metric, or let our anomaly detection engine alert you automatically.
API access: Everything available in the dashboard is also available via our REST and GraphQL APIs. Build custom integrations, export to your SIEM, or feed data into your own analytics pipeline.
Architecture
Observability data is generated at the edge — every PoP contributes telemetry in real time. Data is aggregated in our central analytics cluster and made available through our API within 2 seconds of collection. We retain raw flow data for 90 days and aggregated metrics indefinitely.
Pricing
Wirescope Observability is included at no additional cost for all transit and DDoS mitigation customers. If you're already on our platform, it's live in your dashboard right now.
For standalone observability (without transit or mitigation), pricing starts at $500/month for up to 1 Gbps of monitored traffic.
What's next
This is version 1. We're already working on packet capture integration, BGP route analytics, and a threat intelligence feed based on attack patterns observed across our entire customer base. Stay tuned.
